The show just ended on its second season and has been renewed for a third season that will be coming to USA Network sometime next year. Season one of Mr. Robot is more about Elliot’s life and what kind of person he is, which we find out he is very introverted and socially awkward, with a limited number of people that he socializes with. Elliot is soon introduced to Fsociety, which is a secret hacker group looking to take down the big corporation: E-Corp, and Elliot wants in. Fsociety has a very similar feel to the real life group “Anonymous,” which is a real life hacker group who looks to do noting but good and take down anyone who is doing harm.

Mr Robot sceneAs the show progresses we watch as Fsociety goes and takes down E-Corp, and how after taking down such a huge corporation, Fsociety finds out that they might not be so untouchable as they thought they were.  The show in a whole teaches viewers how pretty much anything that’s digital, or digitally connected can be hacked.
Viewers get some pretty wild moments in season one with how simple it can be to hack a person’s Facebook, how to change hospital records or even going so deep by hacking a prison system. The show gives a real look into how anything can be hacked by a person if they have the means or wants to do so. We later in the season are lightly introduced to the “Dark Army,” a group of people who will pay top dollar to anyone who is willing to hack for them.

Season two viewers get an even deeper look into the “Dark Army” and how they will do almost anything to keep their secrets safe. It then shows the struggles of how stage two in Fsociety’s plan to take down E-Corp maybe a lot harder than they first thought. With many twists and odd turns there are still so many questions to be answered, with fans watching and staying tuned to find out what is next in Fsociety’s plans. As a person who only knows the surface of what can be hacked in our world, it is a scary rude awakening for anyone who thought they were safe with passwords and anti-virus ware.  Tim Raynor stated “It ascends to a psychological level that is rarely found in most television today. Granted, it is a required taste for those who endeavor to challenge their mind, and take it to a level they may never experience in their own reality.”

Mr. Robot currently receives an 8.7 out of 10 by IMDb ratings and a 96 percent on the tomatometer on Rotten Tomatoes. “Mr. Robot is probably the best cyber-thriller series in existence right now.” Nick McConnell explains why other shows cannot compare to Mr.Robot. “The intricate story filled with mystery and character monologue gives it a unique feel in a sea of other cable shows, which cannot compare to Mr. Robot’s unmatched cinematography. No other cable show comes close to the accurate depiction of technology and computer hacking.” Nick McConnell. For any Mr. Robot fans out there they can purchase the “Mr. Robot Red Wheelbarrow” book that is Elliot’s journal we see him writing in towards the ending of season one through out some of season two.It gives a deeper look into Elliot’s thoughts and feelings and clues about season two. With season three on the way viewers will have to wait and see if Fsociety will take down E-Corp for good.
