Manners are still necessary in our graceless society

Julija Kaselyte

Most of us live in a “never ending circle”: work hard, play hard, run, forget about the existence of food, stress out and don’t sleep enough.

The result of this crazy lifestyle – we become annoyed, angry, lack attention, and even forget having good manners.

Let’s admit it, we occasionally blurb something not nice and totally unnecessary.

No matter how busy we are, it’s not that hard to keep your cool.

It’s always worth it to remember how uncool it is to deal with grumpy people who demonstrate their frustrations, argue about little things on every occasion, and just spread bad vibes.

When we have business with such people we simply learn not to be the same way.

For instance, once I heard how two female fans at a concert cussed and yelled at one of the musician’s dad when he asked them to sit down.

They were standing right in front of him and he couldn’t see the performance.

What kind of fan are you

if you don’t respect people at your favorite band’s show?

Your behavior reflects who you really are.

Every now and then I hear someone saying, “But I will never see this person again, so I don’t care.”

I wouldn’t be so sure – life is full of surprises and I want to be positive I won’t have to blush like a beet.

If you don’t agree with another person, express your thoughts in a polite way.

No need to start a conversation with “Listen, you, idiot.”

Despite it all, the stupidest thing to do is to express our anger on social media.

Are we really so left out that we can’t have a live chat with someone who understands?

I think sharing disappointment online is just another way to beg for attention.

Our problems will never end, I assure you, because we often have a tendency to rapidly create new ones, so you can stay annoyed forever. Although you can always do the opposite.

Best trick how not to be little monsters? Say nothing instead of saying everything and with excess.
