Beer pong tour hits Tempe with a splash

The scene at Saturday’s Arizona State vs. Oregon State tailgate party in Tempe, Ariz. was full of excitement and anticipation.The Opus Pong Club hosted a beer pong competition before the football game.
Their BPONG tour bus succeeded in attracting many former students and alumni to the event.
Contestants played for a spectrum of onlookers. The actual beer pong playing took place outside of the bus, beer being replaced by water respectively.
“Just in general we do see an age range from early twenties to the alumni and other people who used to play beer pong in college.” said Danitra Alomia, the public relations account manager of Reverb Communications.
The winners of the tournament who will be participants in The World Series, were the Opus Pong Club, whose members include Allen Dongles and Nathan Cunningham.
The World Series of Beer Pong V will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jan. 1-5, 2010. The ultimate prize is $50,000.
