MCC baseball escapes with another W

The Mesa Community College baseball team pulled out a big win against Glendale Community College.
The T-Birds jumped out to an early 5-2 lead in the third inning but the Vaqueros of Glendale came right back to tie it.
Mesa had good patience at the plate in the seventh inning, drawing walks and bunting the runners over to regain the lead 9-7.
Glendale was able to knock in one more run but the T-Birds closed out the victory with a 9-8 final.
On the day, Mesa out hit Glendale 17-12. Mesa also committed 3 errors.
Come out and support the T-Birds baseball at home March 7, 8 and 9.
First pitch March 7 and 9 is 3 p.m. First pitch March 8 is 2 p.m.
