Romney just not ready

Dominic DeCono

It’s pretty obvious at this point;

Mitt Romney has never handled moments of adversity or situations which have required genuine leadership during his entire campaign.

Take for instance, Romney’s comments regarding the statement made by the U.S embassy in Cairo, Egypt.

The embassy released a statement expressing how people need to stop saying misguided and condemning things about the Muslim faith, and respect everyone’s freedom of religion.

Fair enough right?

Instead of doing the “presidential thing” of acknowledging the embassy’s statement and showing a little respect, Romney criticized the Obama administration by saying that he sympathizes with our attackers instead of condemning them.

He could not have handled that worse than Bush handled Katrina.

Not only was Romney completely false, but instead of retracting what he said, he double-downed and said the same thing the next day about the death of the U.S ambassador to Libya.

Romney has also consistently claimed that President Obama apologizes for the United States and that he is not proud of our nation. How can someone expect to be elected President of the United States when all they do is go for cheap political points and criticize everything the president does?

Forget his experience with business and what he claims to know about the economy. The man cannot handle tough situations to save his life.

And he is paying for it in the polls.

The president’s job is not to just handle the economy, a president must also be able to make tough decisions regarding foreign policy, social issues, health care and represent the U.S. to the rest of the world.

If Mitt Romney’s statements of ignorance are any suggestion of what he might be like as president, then he is not ready to lead the nation.
