It is Mesa Community College’s goal to provide outstanding campus events aswell as important information to the students through club activities. This past year has provided useful information regarding which direction our campus would like to step toward for the new year.
The 1st Annual Presidential Summit, Maricopa Debate’s Presidential Summit is being sponsored by the ASMCC Student Government, all presidents and club advisers of the MCC student clubs have been invited with hopes of all working in conjunction to plan informative events for spring 2010
Using the information presented at the summit from the clubs, Maricopa Debate- Mesa (which is the only speech and debate club in the district) hopes to plan informative-like events in the interest of MCC’ students population.
Club members are excited that they are going to be pioneers for this new club. They will be working with their community. Through integrative and extensive research in communication, they will provide the clubs with an understanding and familiarity of all being on the same page.
For more information students can contact Suhail Abdul-Rahim at maricopadebate@gmail.com for any further questions on this summit.
This event is open to the public and would like for you to voice your opinion as-well. The summit will be held Dec. 11 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Dobson Campus in the Kiva Room in the Kirk Center.
