MCC sports guy: Todd Bolser

Ben Garcia

Let us be introduced to Todd Bolser, Sports Information Director here at MCC.

Bolser attended ASU, earning his bachelor’s of arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Cronkite school in 2007, graduating cum laude.

In 2008 he arrived at MCC and began his web initiative to create and run the Athletics department website. After games, he singlehandedly loads up stat-reports for each player onto the site and writes his own extensive sports column.

Bolser considers himself, “a broadcast journalist at heart,” combining a hard work ethic with a quick sense of humor and humility. “The best part of my job is casting basketball and baseball games play-by-play.”

He is present at most home games, and is found on road games more often than not, but if he isn’t at a game, he might be found playing drums in his Grateful Dead cover band, The Noodles, who play every Sunday evening, from 4:20 – 8:30 pm at Sail Inn.
