See how the Thunderbirds secured a playoff final for the women’s basketball team

Mesa Community College’s women basketball team won their Region I DII Playoff final against Scottsdale Community College on March 9, 2024, launching the team to a national championshiop later this month in Missouri.

Here’s a look at the game on Saturday night and the packed audience that crowded the T.J. Heap Gymnasium on the Southern and Dobson campus.
