One of the best ways to balance weight is exercising.It’s a Middle eastern form of dance originating as early as ancient Babylon. And, uses all parts of the body making it an excellent form of physical activity. Belly Dancing is a particular type of dance that enhances a women’s self-esteem and brings out the natural femininity. This particular dance can improve posture and muscle toning. The movements of belly dancing are concentrated in the hips, pelvis, and abdominals. After these movements are learned and repeated, results are guaranteed to start showing.

Belly dance, like yoga and dance promotes a neutral body posture, one which can help prevent lower back problems and relieve stress to the back, helping alleviate the almost constant compression of the disks that occurs from sitting. One of the most important aspects about the practice of the dance is that pregnant women can practice this dance in order to give a normal birth.

Belly dancing is a low-impact exercise; therefore the risk of injury is least likely to occur. In fact, many doctors encourage people to practice the dance to rehabilitate from any injuries that they may have. Everyone can benefits from the movements of the dance including women of all ages, men, and children.
