Holistic medicine offers healthy alternative

The valley is teeming with alternative medical professionals.
Dr. Bob Martin is a valley alternative medical doctor who has his own talk show on 550 am dial Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon.
Martin takes callers and gives them free alternative medical advice.
One of the most important points that Martin makes on his show is the importance of preventive care, which he believes includes avoiding dangerous vaccines, caffeine, junk food, cell phone radiation, and unnecessary prescription medication.
Martin discourages mammography because it blasts women with radiation and crushes breast tissue.
There is now a alternate procedure available called a thermogram, which detects breast cancer and does not use radiation or crushing.
“Pregnancy is not family photo time,” Martin said.
He discourages ultrasounds of unborn babies due to the radiation dangers.
Frank Nattrass, owner of Perfectly Beautiful Incorporated located in Mesa, recommends probiotics for just about every illness.
He makes a probiotic called Floriderm.
“Floriderm is specifically designed to heal the skin,” Nattrass said.
His custumers use Floriderm to cure acne and other skin diseases.
Dr. Terry Lee is a holistic dentist located on Indian School Road and 32nd Street in Phoenix.
He does all the regular dentistry without using fluoride or toxic chemicals.
He removes mercury fillings and replaces them with a bio-friendly material.
Holistic dentists believe that what is put in the mouth matters.
Mesa Natural Medicine, located on Brown Road in Mesa, will always provide probiotics to replace the good intestinal flora after prescribing antibiotics for an infection.
Without replacing the good bacteria that is destroyed by antibiotics and other toxins, the intestines cannot digest food properly and all sorts of illnesses occur such as systemic yeast overgrowth.
