Inside Look at MCC’s Nursing Department

Mesa Community College’s (MCC) Nursing Department offers several different programs for students who want to enter the medical field. 

In 2019 Mesa Community College was ranked the top nursing school in Arizona according to http://www.registerednursing.org

One of their most popular programs is to become a registered nurse and completing a bachelor’s degree over the course of four semesters. The concurrent enrollment program (CEP) allows students to go through nursing school at MCC while taking online courses at the University of their choice.

Besides the registered nursing program, the department also offers nurse assisting, paramedic, and refreshers for students. 

Equipped with several labs with real hospital equipment, each room is equipped with dozens of patient care simulators where students can practice everything from blood draw to bedside manor.
