When a legendary band retires after years and years of changing lives and the sound of music, fans are distraught.

What could be worse than when a group stops making the most memorable and incomparable music? Fanatics crying when the end has come.

People who are so committed and dedicated, come together to create a cover band just to continue to perform the same music the original band once did.

For example, Pink Floyd; one of the greatest rock-and-roll bands of all time whom even though can never be replaced, their music can still live out loud.

Today, nearly 50 years later, a group made up of 11 people have made history as being one of the greatest cover bands of all time.

Aussie Pink Floyd have flawlessly mimicked the sound of Pink Floyd, giving fans an intense nostalgia of when they used to rock the earth back in the day.

Folks can finally embrace the magic of Pink Floyd’s sounds and experience the elation all over again.

Colin Wilson, the bassist for the Australian Pink Floyd has been jamming with the band since 1992. He shares the same heightened passion for Pink Floyd and their sound right along side the other members.

“It’s been such an amazing experience. A dream come true. We travel all around the U.K and in North America, and every show has been memorable. Being sponsored by Pink Floyd is such an honor,” said Wilson, who is on tour almost the entire year with only a few weeks off.

“We are on tour all year long, until December for about nine weeks. We spend that time rehearsing and relaxing a bit, and then we’re off again for another tour. We all get a little homesick, but it’s worth it when we get to perform,” Wilson said.

The cover band has performed in more than 35 countries and have sold over three million tickets worldwide.
