Feminism and humanism are equal

Because of the way I act and think, I would be considered a feminist.

My beliefs go much deeper than fighting for the rights of my fellow sisters.

I am very much for gay marriage and I am against any type of hate crime against another type of culture or group, which means I am an ally.

But why is it that because I believe in equal rights for one of my cultures, I’m considered an extremist?

The word “feminism” has always and will probably always be seen as a negative thing.

Burning bras and fighting to be able to work is what most see in the feminist movement, not just the fighting for equal rights.

The age old saying “anything you can do I can do better” often applies to women and men.

People of all ethnicities and background have had to fight for their rights in some way or another; some have won and many are still fighting.

It just doesn’t make any sense to me why any
