Black Friday offers low prices

Kevin Holloway

Thanksgiving was once the day that kicked off the holiday season, but now it seems that Black Friday has stolen the title.
Instead of prepping Thanksgiving dinner for days to come, it is not uncommon for families to camp outside of their favorite stores for days to recieve bargains.
Some stores even go as far as offering free gifts to a limited amount of customers in line when they open their doors.
Others offer ridiculous deals on great items such as; flat screen TV’s, Ipods, digital cameras, and many other eye catching gadgets to gain customers.
The key is to start planning early, make a list of items wanted for Christmas, then go through ads and locate which stores are offering the best deals on the items from the list.
Many Web sites have been created specifically for Black Friday to ensure that people know of the savings offered at local retailers.
Sites include; blackfriday.com, blackfridayplanner.com, and blackfridaysales.us help plan a strategic shopping day full of savings. Large chain retailers like Wal-mart, Target, and Best Buy all have specials designed to keep their stores filled with eager shoppers hoping to get gifts out of the way early.
Arizona Mills, as well as most other Valley malls will be opening at 11 p.m. Thanksgiving night and will remain open until 10 p.m. Black Friday night.
Most retailers in the mall will offer discounts, but the better deals will be found at the larger retailers who can afford to give really low prices for a day.
Whenever planning to go on a shopping spree for a length of time it is easy to get exhausted or maybe even injured.
However if one is properly prepared they should avoid all problems that may go wrong, proper shoes and clothes can be a big help.
If the day is going to consist of a lot of walking plan for that as well, also take in consideration the weather.
There is nothing worse than having to end a good shopping day early because of a toe blister from walking around in sandals.
Start planning out a shopping filled day as soon as possible, the holidays have already arrived.
